Brookfield Properties has reimagined an entire city block site in DTLA as a bespoke, inspiring creative office and mixed-use destination, with 1.8 million square feet of commercial office, fashion mart, retail, and amenity space. The mixed-use complex, California Market Center (CMC), was reinvented to appeal to the rising influx of technology, entertainment, media, food, and beverage industries heading to Downtown LA. Situated on the corner of 9th & Main Streets in the heart of the Fashion District, the new CMC builds upon an incredible legacy of passion and collaboration as it welcomes the next century’s creative visionaries. The project hosts 13 floors across three buildings with large floor plates connected by exterior bridges overlooking an interior street and public plaza. Buildings A and B primarily support creative office tenants, while Building C hosts legacy and new fashion tenants and showrooms. Amenities include a rooftop deck, a tenant-only fitness center, and an extensive retail merchandising plan with office support and personal and wellness services. Urbanspace has joined our roster, delivering a curated Food Hall featuring 19 operators. Additionally, we are working to procure a boutique neighborhood market, ground-level retail offerings, and a full-service restaurant. CMC is located near Metro and bus public transit options and provides on-site valet parking in its 3‑level parking garage. VISIONARIES WELCOME!
